I just wanted to step in here and let everyone know that my latest project for the rukristin Creative Team is up! It’s an adorable little travel notebook I made for our DisneyWorld trip.
I have been so excited but couldn’t really tell anyone until today: I have been selected to be on the rukristin Creative Team! This is really fun for me, being my first creative team membership, and I am seriously jazzed to be creating projects to showcase current and upcoming rukristin product lines, because her stuff is downright adorable, in the most badass of ways.
And I couldn’t be more “behind” a team; Kristin has a great attitude toward scrapbooking, art, women, and humans in general.
I added a bunch of fun new stuff to the shop! Flair, magnets, and pins galore!
Someone got a professional button-maker for her birthday (spoiler alert: it was me), and has gone a bit crazy making scrapbooking flair and pins.
And so can you! I’ve listed some flair in my Etsy store, so check it out if you need something funky in your life!
Almost a year ago now, my friends and I started playing D&D 5th edition. I wasn’t sure it was something I’d really be into (no imagination over here), but it sounded like a good excuse to make cute things.
Indeed it was, and as the Dungeon Master, I have made dice bags, stickers, monster miniatures, shirts, full-size maps, and will soon be making pins/buttons (more on that laaaaater!).
We have a really great time playing, and everyone seems thoroughly amused by whatever I come up with for each get-together.
I have been working SO hard on this lately, it’s nice to finally be able to share it with someone! It’s still a bit of a work in progress, so bear with me!
I finally opened the SBCC Shop. Right now, it’s stocked mostly with embellishments. Some will be familiar to everyone, but there are quite a few one-of-a-kind hand-made goodies in there, too! It’s worth a look (in my un-biased opinion….haha!).
Please let me know if there’s anything specific you guys would like to see in there, and I will see what I can do! Oh….stamps are definitely coming, so keep an eye out for those!
One of my friends is having a baby! We’ve been friends for quite a while now, and she’s always wanted to be a mother. I am so happy for her!
I thought I’d make her something special, so I decided on a hand-stitched, personalized onesie with the baby’s initial on it. And it turned out pretty cute. But it isn’t what this post is about.
This post is about the two other onesies I made, because making hers was so much fun!
I plan to make my cousin’s daughter (first cousin, once removed, right?) a t-shirt of her own for her birthday this summer, but haven’t yet decided on a design. You can expect pictures once it’s done!
You know what I don’t love? Butterfly stamps! However, I was just re-organizing my stamp collection, and noticed that I have somehow ended up with quite a few.
Now, this may seem unimportant to you. But perhaps the title of the post gave you a clue as to why you might care: Because I am giving some away!
They don’t have their plastic backing, but they are in pristine, unused condition. They’re each less than an inch tall.
A randomly-chosen winner will win all four stamps.
Just leave me a comment with your name and something you’d like to see more of on my blog. You’ll be entered for the give-away, and the winner will be announced on Sunday, March 23rd.
I plan to have another stamp give-away sometime in the next two weeks or so, but with a different “theme.” So, use the “Follow Me” buttons on the right, or keep checking back!
Give-away for US residents only. Sorry!
I signed up for an online crafting class, which is definitely not a “Shayne” thing to do. But hey, why not? As the kids these days say….”YOLO.” (cringe)
Anyway, it’s Kal Barteski’s Life Scripted class, and so far, it has actually been very fun. She says that brush scripting is relaxing, and she is NOT WRONG. I am a perfectionist who hates everything I make, and I am still really enjoying myself, doing the exercises and just kinda branching out when I feel like it.
Last night, I made a couple words that I ended up really liking. I scanned them in, turned them into .pngs, and put a couple on photos. Then I imported them into the Silhouette Studio program, in order to cut some files out for my Project Life. Then I thought, why not give them away? Maybe someone could use them.
Long story short (as if), here they are:
And here’s a link to download the .studio files for the Silhouette Studio software: [wpdm_package id=’1034′] [wpdm_package id=’1033′]
